I found this book in an antique shop in Connecticut when I was about ten or twelve.
Probably paid 2 bucks for it.
What a find, I was completely enthralled with this book ( I was already a CW freak by then)
and the individual stories are amazing.
Particularly if you already have knowledge of the Civil War battles that these men fought in to put these stories in their proper context.
And it 's a very large book. Somewhat coffee table size for 1901.
